In celebration of its Tenth Anniversary, the Fraunhofer-Institute IFF Magdeburg hosted from 24.-27.6.2002 a Scientific Celebration Week, whose main event is the „International Colloquium on Autonomous and Mobile Robots“. The contributions to this colloquium are in the transcript. Scientists from different European countries report about the newest developments in the fields of autonomous vehicles, service robots, simulation and controls of autonomous systems, walking robots, rolling and hybrid systems. The transcript is an up-to-date source of information for scientists, engineers, and students, who want to be informed and read the latest about trends and the state-of-the-art in this field of research.
