The Technical University of Berlin plans to develop its location at Salzufer, former Severingelände. Because of initially existing small scale industries and a heterogenous urban structure the area shows in the present urban environment potential for redensification. This condition allows to shape the identity of the location and to establish an contemporary image of the University. Several collegiate design projects in architecture and landscape architecture display various settings of a possible development in different scales.
