Sixteen-year-old Eisel believes she has nothing to live for: her mother has left her, her father has done something terrible, and her classmates have ridiculed her. The girl decides to die. Eisel stumbles upon the Quiet Departure website. There she meets Roman - the perfect partner for the realization of her terrible plan. Step by step, they are approaching the date of their own death. But gradually the girl realizes that she does not want to die. And now her only wish is to save Roman and encourage him to live.
