Exploring the motif of divine coronation, this work examines fifty Jewish texts spanning from late antiquity to the thirteenth-century Zohar. Arthur Green analyzes Talmudic, Midrashic, and Kabbalistic writings, revealing a continuum of mystical, magical, and devotional perspectives within Jewish thought. The first part highlights the connections between "normative" Judaism and its mystical counterparts, while the latter focuses on medieval Kabbalistic evolution, emphasizing the significance of keter as the foremost of the ten divine emanations.
