Focusing on the Minimalist Program in generative linguistics, this study delves into its philosophical implications and historical roots, linking it to the scientific revolutions of the seventeenth century and the formalism of the nineteenth century. It highlights the scarcity of in-depth philosophical discourse in biolinguistics and aims to illuminate longstanding analytical philosophy issues, particularly concerning 'reference' and 'truth,' through insights from contemporary theoretical linguists and neurobiologists.
