Set in 5500 BC, the story follows the Atlans as they embark on expeditions to establish colonies in Mesopotamia and Egypt, driven by fears of an impending disaster. Their adventures reveal the turmoil of a land ruled by the tyrant Seth, responsible for the death of High Lord Osiris. Meanwhile, Osiris's widow, Isis, escapes to Ethiopia with their son, who, aided by the Ethiopians, ultimately returns to reclaim his father's throne. The narrative intertwines themes of power, destiny, and resilience in the face of oppression.
