The Field Road tells the story of an unlikely love triangle hidden in the shadows of a small Midwestern town in the early 1990s. Beada and Porter are an estranged married couple, outsiders, stuck in the aftershocks of losing their oldest child, but now with the imminent flight of their other two children from home, life must and will go on. When Beada's unorthodox confessions to Father Sean, a priest wrestling with his own grief, become intimate conversations, their actions cannot be undone. A window opens, and life begins hurtling forward, releasing what's kept them wrestling alone in the dark.
