The search for ever new hidden realities holds a big fascination which this book is trying to depict. The effort to fill the white spots on the map of science always has a touch of adventurousness. At at time in which there are few undiscovered spots left this effort has something to do with living the life of a pioneer. However, apart from being enthusiastic about making new discoveries, a pioneer also has to have perseverance, tenacity, and a sense of responsibility for the fields which he has opened up from himself.
