Since its founding in 1911 the Pelizaeus Museum in Hildesheim with its collection of Egyptian antiquities is one of the most important museums of its kind in Germany. In this volume a representative selection of well-known monuments is know as well as some newly-acquired [circa 1996] objects never presented before.
