This book is the culmination of an advertising campaign by the exclusive design company Vitra, which had the idea of photographing famous personalities sitting on Vitra chairs. The reulsting photographs collected in "Sittings" are remarkable in their portrayal of wolrd-famous personalities from the fine and performing arts commenting on the link between style and status.
