Everyone is mystified as to the source of the & "big bangs " that are causing chaos all around Gosling Farm. Stan and Little Red Tractor investigate and find the cause to be Mr Jones' new gas fired bird scarer - a new contraption that lets off a loud bang every now and then to scare off the birds. Stan works out a plan with Walter and Nicola at Beech garage to bring peace and quiet to the neighbourhood once more.
