Viac o knihe
" ... Ambras now focuses on the Habsburg courts, where rare birds, classy dogs, horses and well-travelled exotics were romping. The exhibition explains how animals were acquired and demonstrates the importance as prestigious objects, as collectables and items of contemporary natural history research. Also, the significance of natural products such as ivory and rhinoceros horns, which were added to the 'Kunstkammern' as rare treasures, is underscored."--Preface, p. 7
