Take: one supermodel, Pandora; a Bedouin Sheikh, Faisal; a flash but fashionable editorial team slowly freaking behind their dark Gucci sun glasses; stir them together in a bowl of oily Russian mafia intrigue; cook slowly under the Syrian desert sun for a fortnight; scatter with emeralds, and serve. Result: an explosive combination. But is is the sand in her slingbacks that casues Pandora to panic?
