What causes TEE programs to fail why others succeed? Snook, veteran missionary in South Africa, set out to find the answer. During that time, he discovered help for theological educators in assessing and transforming their TEE programs. In five detailed case studies from Africa, as well as results from two surveys of TEE programs on that continent, he notifies TEE officials of some of the features, trends and problems of this leadership training movement. TEE administrators and staff, mission agency executives, missionary training institutions—in fact, all who are involved in producing leadership for the church—can profit from this research.
