This riveting pictorial review of world events captured on film records the tragedy and pain, the joy and happiness of the human experience. The remarkable photographs in this second in an annual series were chosen from submissions made in response to a call for entries sent by Graphis to news photographers around the world. Each photographer's work is presented as an extended visual essay, with eight to ten pages devoted to photographs of each topic covered. Work is featured from both established and up-and-coming photographers.
