The author posits that humanity is suffering from a loss of meaning and replacing it with fundamentalism and nihilism. To combat despair, tribalism, and disaster fatigue, Wheal offers a program of meditation, breathing, movement, and sexuality, here called Hedonic Engineering, intended to heal and inspire.
