Viac o knihe

Archbishop Herman Adrian Spruit was an uncommon visionary who appeared at a time when the field of ministry was firmly rooted in "mainline" tradition. According to him, this is rule number "Never talk about anything religious unless you feel it. Unless it comes from the heart, soul, or gut level, it is a fake and a sham." Of Dutch Old Catholic stock, Archbishop Spruit started his ecclesiastical career as a United Methodist minister. Indeed, he represented that body at the founding of the World Council of Churches. Unfulfilled, he felt drawn to the mystical and briefly served as the General Secretary of the Science of Mind Church. Then, he discovered Independent Catholicism and the chance to blend the traditions of his religious roots with direct mystical experience. This inspired him to write the Sacramentarion, which recounts his journey and takes the rest of us along with him.
