The exhibitions of Tim Otto Roth - internationally renowned concept artist, composer and researcher into the phenomenon of shadows - are carefully crafted gesamtkunstwerke. In parallel to the opening of the new Christian Schad Museum in Aschaffenburg, the adjacent Jesuit Church Art Gallery will be transformed by him into a corresponding environment: an organic dot pattern renders the tiled floor a walkable ornament, breathtaking shadow projections circulate in the vaults of what used to be a baroque church, and the sounds of a water organ sculpture permeate the church room.
