This text caters to a first course in chemistry taken by environmental engineers. The purpose of the book is to bring into focus those aspects of chemistry which are particularly valuable to environmental engineering practice, and to lay a groundwork of understanding in the area of specialized quantitative analysis, commonly referred to as water and wastewater analysis.
