IPSec is a suite of protocols that integrate security into the Internet Protocol (IP), and provide data source authentication, data integrity, confidentiality, and protection against replay attacks. This book discusses the architecture, design, implementation, and use of IPSec. The authentication header, the encapsulating security payload, and the internet key exchange are examined in detail.
