Malak Karsh is one of Canada's most celebrated and accomplished photographers capturing images of Ottawa and the whole of Canada on a daily basis! Nothing less than a passion, photography was for him a way of celebrating Canada, a country he immigrated to and loved until his final days. In this exciting collection of Malak's life work, his wife Barbara has specially selected more than 100 stunning images that express some of the best work from the photographer's vast archives that span some 50 years. He exhibited internationally and was the recipient of the Order of Canada, the Whitton Award, and the National Film Board of Canada's Gold Medal. His previous books include Ottawa, The Land that Shapes Us, and Tulips.Malak passed away in 2001.
