In the early 1980s, Linda Page spent her days at a Northern California health food store educating consumers about herbs, vitamins, diet, and healthy living. Realizing that there were literally millions of people who wanted more information about health and well-being choices, Linda set out to put her knowledge and healing experience into a ready reference book for health care consumers. Because mainstream publishers felt it would not be of interest to their clientele, she decided to form her own publishing company in 1985. The first, small printing of Healthy Healing sold out within weeks, & Linda never looked back.
