Viac o knihe
The early works of Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), associated with Classical Modernism, show the influence of Vincent van Gogh and Fauvism. Later, he discovered Picasso's work and Cubism, becoming a pioneer of abstract painting in the Netherlands. His pieces are characterized by strict geometric forms and primary colors. Virginia Pitts Rembert is an expert in 20th-century American and European painting and architecture, and a regular contributor to Arts Magazine.
