The book is primarily intended for high school students with an advanced English curriculum, language course participants, students of English teacher training colleges, and first and second-year English philology students. The textbook: - presents simple, clear language; - has a transparent structure; - covers all essential grammatical issues of the English language; - includes a division of material into traditional parts of speech: noun, article, pronoun, preposition, particle, adverb, and verb; - presents a set of contrasting, translation, situational exercises, and mixed techniques for practical verification and reinforcement of the material presented in the descriptive part; - includes an answer key at the end of the book, allowing for independent study.
