Focusing on the lived experiences of Native American youth in the U.S. public education system, this research highlights the challenges they face, including low graduation rates and cultural silencing. Through interviews with five participants, key themes such as cultural connection, resilience, racial aggression, and the impact of stereotypes are examined. The study aims to deepen understanding of academic oppression and offers insights for social workers and future research, addressing the unique educational dynamics affecting Native American students.
