This book will develop many of the concepts of electrostatics, magnetostatics, steady currents and dc circuits that have been treated selectively in An Introduction to Maxwell's Equations. The discussion of microscopic fields in dielectric and magnetic materials, has been reduced. The space created will allow more discussion of applications of the other concepts.
