Having qualified as a family therapist, Tessa Trentham wanted a nursing job which would use her skills. Becoming practice nurse at the new Health Centre at Laughton Mere would allow her full scope - marital problems; an adopted teenager tracing her real mother; the delicate and difficult problems of surrogate motherhood; running the Family Support Group.
