a mystery set in the Rheinland of Germany. A detective from Bonn is called in because someone is missing. While looking for him a woman is found dead on a hiking path. He thinks the two cases have something to do with each other. As he begins his case, evidence from World War I keeps coming up and having something to do with the case.
