A main course for students on vocational courses who will need some English in their jobs. It focuses on the key language and communication skills needed in the workplace, with the emphasis on commercial correspondence and telephoning skills. The course is intended mainly for students who have not yet started their careers, but it is also suitable for mature students who are retraining, and should benefit anyone working towards a commercial qualification. The course is skills-based, with a lively storyline based around four young people who go into business together. There is a clear unit structure, with sections on correspondence and telephoning in every unit.
