Ambient Intelligence Perspectives features selected papers from the first international Ambient Intelligence Forum AmIF 2008 held in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. This forum marks the start of a series of discussions focused on the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary aspects of the rapidly evolving field of Ambient Intelligence.
