Viac o knihe
Exploring the roots of Nazism, this work delves into the ideological and cultural influences that shaped Hitler's regime, particularly through the lens of Judaic-Christian ethics and German romanticism. Viereck critiques the conventional economic interpretations and instead highlights the irrationalism and collective beliefs that fueled Nazi ideology, drawing connections to figures like Wagner. This expanded edition includes essays on notable historical figures and a discussion with Jacques Barzun, enriching the analysis of German thought and its implications for totalitarianism.
