Montserrat, the sacred mountain of the Catalans, is one of the most appreciated natural parks in the country. Its high points, peaks and crags of fantastic forms have left generations of travellers spellbound. Mountain, sanctuary and monastery come together in a unique enclave. The Museum of Montserrat houses an important artistic archive, with paintings dating from the 13th to 20th centuries.
