In Madrid, molecular biologist Dr. Alethea Pardo Calderon discovers a formula for regenerating neural cells through genetic manipulation. Soon, she becomes entangled with an international pharmaceutical company, prompting her to flee to Cuba with her family, believing her mission to heal humanity is safer there.
