Yogis of India consists of a set of biographies of great Indian spiritual masters. The author explores various facets of the lives of the saints, covering lives of key disciples and touching the leela, or the play of the realised master that nurtures the devotee and develops the disciple. Each chapter begins with a unique episode in the life of the saint, and goes on to trace the life of the saint from birth to Mahasamadhi.
