On a windy September day, twenty-five-year-old Slater Brown finds himself in a bicycle taxi racing down the busiest street in San Francisco. However, it is the brilliant inventor Milo Magnet, obsessed with controlling the weather, who will challenge Slater the most. As Milo unleashes his power on San Francisco and the captivating Callio de Quincy enchants Slater, storm clouds gather overhead. Slater finds himself a pawn, a savior, and the last hope for a city that desperately needs his talent for truth.
