This work examines the introduction of non-human actors into intersubjectivity, highlighting how our intimate spaces have become sites of intersubjective relations. The pervasive presence of technological networks reveals the distribution of agency and subjectivity, leading to theories of hybrid subjects that blend human and other biological or technological agents. These shifts challenge traditional notions of autonomy and expand our understanding of perception and communication, emphasizing that human experience is just one among many viable systems. The collection features essays, conversations, and artworks that investigate how technology mediates our encounters, creating alternative, networked subjectivities. It explores the epistemological, aesthetic, philosophical, and political dimensions of intersubjective intimacy, examining connections between physical matter and cybernetic systems, as well as the formation of new subjectivities among diverse actors. By integrating academic, curatorial, and artistic perspectives, it fosters dialogue between artificial, biological, and emotional intelligence, inviting readers to reconsider the nature of intimacy in a technologically mediated world.
