Viac o knihe
Sharuq - once a Soviet Oscar SSGN, now manned by an Arabic captain and crew. The sinking of a U.S. supertanker in the Yucatan Channel is only her first triumph ina short-range plan to cut off American oil supplies. The long-range plan is sweeping and sinister.Leviathan - the world's largest Typhoon-type undersea vessel, equipped with the most advanced twenty-first-century U.S. technology and weapons.Commander T. Morgan Gray, ace Navy pilot, and his crew are brought aboard Leviathan to man an experimental fleet of SFV-4B Barracudas - undersea versions of a hot new fighter plane. But as Leviathan hunts its pirate prey, Gray's mini-sub maneuvers reveal a still deadlier peril - a secret underwater base on Cuban shores. When a fleet of Islamic supersubs join forces with Sharuq, only a miracle of skill, wit and daring can prevent certain death for hundreds of brave submariners - and the undeclared onset of WWIII.
