A rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of the art world's most respected magazines, 20 Years of Artists' Collaborations portrays and explores the 20 years of Parkett since 1984. Focused particularly on the making of the journals' signature artists' collaborations and editions, this book features unpublished artist interviews, statements and other background information. Included as well are artists' documents on the making of Parkett editions with some 30 full-page color drawings and comments by artists Doug Aitken, Laurie Anderson, Louise Bourgeois, Maurizio Cattelan, Gilbert & George, Roni Horn, Cindy Sherman, Gerhard Richter, Jeff Wall and others. Parkett co-founders Bice Curiger, Jacqueline Burckhardt and Dieter von Graffenried provide insightful interviews which are interspersed with pictures, historical material and reproductions of Parkett covers. Approximately 30 artists, curators and authors give statements, and 12 color double pages feature Parkett editions in private collections, a special large size fold-out poster, and a group picture of all editions. Also included is an index of the past 20 years that includes all 200 artists, 150 editions, 700 authors, 60 Parkett inserts and 15 spines.

Unter dem Titel Leftovers realisiert Nedko Solakov ein außergewöhnliches Buch. Er zeigt Werke, die in den letzten Jahren in Solakovs Galerien und seinem eigenen Atelier übrig geblieben sind. Mit dieser Auswahl kehrt Solakov das gängige Verfahren um: es werden keine Werke aus berühmten Sammlungen gezeigt, sondern Werke, die keiner haben wollte. Dass das nichts mit Qualität zu tun hat, wird anhand der Exponate deutlich. Denn einige von Solakovs besten Arbeiten gehören gerade zu diesen Leftovers. Das Medium Film und dessen Reflexion stehen im Mittelpunkt von Runa Islams Werk. Die 1970 in Bangladesh geborene und zurzeit in London lebende Künstlerin dekonstruiert lineare Erzählmuster und Zeitabläufe und rückt den Akt des Sehens - sowohl im Sinne des Schauens wie auch des Erkennens - in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Arbeit. Es geht ihr um die Hinterfragung von filmischer Illusion und um die Offenlegung von politischen Strukturen, die unserer Gesellschaft zugrunde liegen, auf den ersten Blick jedoch nicht erkennbar sind. Runa Islams Filme sind bildstarke Kreationen, die den Zuschauer durch ihre Poesie in ihren Bann ziehen. Für ihre letzten Filme hat sie aufwendige Präsentationsformen und Installationen geschaffen, in denen sie die Unterschiede und Möglichkeiten von Film, Skulptur, Kunst und Kino auffächert. Von einem spezifischen Interesse am Format des Dokumentarischen geleitet, sprengen die Filme von Islam immer wieder die Konventionen dieses Genres.
