Autorka pokračuje v úspěšné linii předchozích knih a v dojímavých, humorně laděných textech zpracovává původně asi autentické kočičí zážitky zčásti "kočičím pohledem";- jako by je líčili samotní kočičí hrdinové jejích příběhů. Kočky tak dostávají tvář a charakter, jsou domýšleny jejich pohnutky. Jejich očima je pak líčen i svět a pohnutky lidské, které se se zvířecími doplňují a prolínají.
