Trina Schart Hymanová bola americká ilustrátorka detských kníh, ktorá ilustrovala viac ako 150 kníh. Jej tvorba sa zameriavala predovšetkým na rozprávky a artušovské legendy, ktoré oživovala svojím jedinečným výtvarným prejavom. Ilustrácie Hymanovej sa vyznačovali hĺbkou, zmyslom pre detail a schopnosťou zachytiť magickú podstatu príbehov. Jej práca vizuálne definovala mnohé klasické diela pre deti a zanechala trvalú stopu v oblasti ilustrácie detských kníh.
