Osmý svazek studijní řady Acta Reformationem Bohemicam Illustrantia uvádí překlad nejdůležitějšího textu, který vzešel ze styků reformátora Martina Luthera a českých utrakvistů na počátku dvacátých let 16. století. Lutherův dopis De instituendis ministris ecclesiae z roku 1523 obsahuje stručný návod na řešení situace, do níž se česká církev pod obojí dostala tím, že zůstala od časů kompaktát věrná římskému svěcení svého kněžstva. Luther zde vyzývá politické špičky Starého města pražského k vybudování církve nezávislé na Římu.
