Focusing on the socio-economic impact of terrorism, this study examines the costs incurred by Pakistan's exports from 2006 to 2009 amid the intensified War on Terror. It details the frequency and nature of terrorist attacks, including their effects on schools and population displacement. By analyzing macroeconomic indicators and employing econometric models, the study quantifies export losses, revealing a staggering $29.1 to $36.2 billion decline, with approximately $20.4 billion attributed directly to the War on Terror's influence on export performance.
