Mario Giordano, 1963 in München geboren, ist einer der vielseitigsten deutschen Autoren. Er lebt in Berlin und schreibt Kinder- und Jugendbücher, Romane, Sachbücher und Drehbücher. Bei Rowohlt erschien unter anderem sein Roman «Das Experiment», die Vorlage des gleichnamigen Kinofilms, zu dem er auch das Drehbuch schrieb.
