In Lumen Lunae sind Dämonen verschiedener Klassen angesiedelt. Die Erde wurde zu einem Vergnügungspark für die "höhere Ebene" Jinkei. Hisanagi, der vor den Exekutoren flieht, trifft eine Frau aus der Ohaku-Familie, bei der ein Junge lebt, der stark auf den Namen der Seihaku-Familie reagiert.
Lumen Lunae ist eine Welt der Dämonen unterschiedlicher Klassen. Die Erde und all ihre Geschöpfe wurde zu einem riesigen Vergnügungspark, bzw. Jagdrevier einer "höheren Ebene" degradiert: Jinkei. Kai Houjou, halb Mensch, halb Dämon, geht auf der Erde mit der 16-jährigen Aika in eine Klasse. Beide werden in die Interessenkonflikte verschiedener Beohner der Dämonenwelt verwickelt. Zerbrechliche und zugleich starke Charaktere bestimmen die spannende Handlung in dieser dunklen und doch wunderschönen Welten-Fantasy.
