Alícia je zvedavá a hľadá dobrodružstvo, pričom sa stretáva s rôznymi podivnými postavami, ako sú Hatter, Cheshire Cat a kráľovná srdcová. Kniha skúma témy identity, logiky a absurdity, pričom Alícia prechádza rôznymi surrealistickými situáciami, ktoré vyzývajú jej chápanie reality.
