Postrach Denis si nesplnil prázdninovú domácu úlohu a za trest si celý rok musí písať denník. Mrzí ho to iba chvíľku. A to presne dovtedy, kým mu v hlave neskrsne nápad, že z denníka urobí príručku pre budúce generácie postrachov. A tak sa dozviete, čo všetko sa dá zažiť v mestečku Žúrkovo, aké fígle stvára Denis so svojím verným psom Tesákom a kamošmi Brčkom a Piškótom či ako jednoducho rozoznať padavky – napríklad Denisovho najúhlavnejšieho nepriateľa Waltera. Nie všetky lotrovstvá sa musia vydariť, ale o dobrú zábavu je vždy postarané.

A tak se dozvíte, co všechno se dá zažít v městečku Bugrburg, jaké lumpárny Denis vyvádí se svým věrným psem Raťafákem a kamarády Kudrnáčem a Lívancem nebo jak snadno rozpoznat měkkoně, jako je Denisův úhlavní nepřítel Walter. Ne každá rošťárna se musí vydařit, ale o dobrou zábavu je vždy postaráno.

Ve třetím dílu deníku známého rošťáka Denise se dočteme, že městečko Bugrburg čeká v létě náramná událost: v zábavním parku se otevře největší, nejklikatější a nejrychlejší horská dráha světa, hrůzná Blinkometa!
