Homi K. Bhabha ist einer der bedeutendsten Literaturtheoretiker der Gegenwart und neben Edward Said, Gayatri Ch. Spivak und Stuart Hall einer der maßgeblichen RepräsentantInnen der Postcolonial Studies. Der in Indien geborene Wissenschaftler entwickelte eine Reihe von Grundkonzepten für diese Disziplin.
