This is a four-part ELT course which aims to help nurture children's confidence and enthusiasm for English through gently graded activities. The syllabus has built-in revision and pronunciation lessons, and involves pupils in the evaluation of their own progress.

Little Kitten knows that all cats purr - so why cant she purr too? "Have you got my purr?" she asks Dog, but Dog has only his woof. Perhaps Cow has her purr? Or Sheep? Little Kitten asks all the animals in the farmyard but none of them has her purr. Wherever can it be?

An Elementary Level story in a series of ELT readers comprising a wide range of titles and divided into five levels: Starter Level, with about 300 basic words; Beginner (600); Elementary (1100); Intermediate (1600); and Upper (2200). Some of the titles are also available on cassette.
