Sanctum Book Three: Forgotten World by B. K. Moe continues the story of Sanctum Part Two: Shattered World and Sanctum Part One: Pestilent World and recounts the final confrontations of the Darkening, when the grand alliance of humans, Sun Elves and Kessver march against the Arch Magister. The siege of Warakk is lifted, but the cost was nigh unbearable for the remnants of humanity. Now the free nations of Erathia have assembled what fighting forces remain to muster against the source of the continent's desolation. Sanctum Part Two: Shattered World by B. K. Moe continues the story of Sanctum Part One: Pestilent World, immediately following Ostrava and Alena's arrival in Katash after their harrowing journey from Kor'an-Tel. With the doom of the Darkening nearly having succeeded in destroying all that stands before it, old dangers must be confronted and new alliances forged, before one of the last bulwarks against the darkness falls. The peoples of Erathia come to a crossroads, and must decide whether to put away ancient prejudices and find the source of the corruption, or watch as an unknowable evil commits the unthinkable.

Seven long years have taken their toll on Ostrava Beravtán of Belán, former Wing Leader in the elite Skyriders. As much of the continent of Erathia lies devastated by the forces behind the Darkening, he is reduced to fugitive status as hordes of horrids - ugly, venomous remains of people - continue to exert their murderous rule. A risky decision to explore Ktillia Fortress for clues to his family's fate leads to an encounter with Sun Elf Alena, Senior Priestess of the dominant elven religious organization, the Order in the land of Kor'an-Tel, whose life is on the line at the horrids' hands. Mutual support becomes vital for their survival as an involuntary emotional bond develops between them. All the more so as they are charged with a hazardous mission into hostile territory in a desperate attempt to forge an alliance that might turn the tide before it is too late.

Depresia je stále tabu – mnohí ju nevedia ani len identifikovať, málokto sa prizná, že ňou trpí a len malé percento ľudí navštívi odborníka. Je ťažké sa o nej baviť s nadhľadom a nepatrí sa o nej vtipkovať. John Moe, rozhlasový moderátor a autor podcastov, sa o to pokúsil a napísal knihu Úžasný svet depresie. Moe má s depresiou veľa neveselých skúseností – sám si chorobou prešiel a jeho brat si v jej dôsledku vzal život, no napriek tomu je presvedčený, že o nej treba otvorene hovoriť a dá sa o nej hovoriť aj s humorom. Podľa jeho vlastných slov je totiž depresia „nebezpečná, ale vo svojej podstate komická“. Poskladal teda spomienky na vlastnú zložitú cestu sprevádzanú depresiou a príbehy ľudí, ktorých počas nej stretol, pretože z vlastnej skúsenosti vie, že aj zdieľanie môže mať terapeutický účinok.
