V Československu jej zatiaľ vyšla detektívka Smrť a blažená pani. Neberte stopárov je typický anglický kasársko-detektívny príbeh, ale pritom úsmevný, s neuveriteľnými zvratmi a prekvapeniami — nielen pre vyšetrujúcu políciu, ale aj pre čitateľa — s dvoma pôvabnými postavičkami Williem a Calli, s pestrou paletou anglických zločincov (a žien okolo nich), s nočnými prenasledovaniami, bitkami, prestrelkami, trikmi, zradou, čiže so všetkým, čím oplývajú tradičné anglické detektívky. Pred zrakmi čitateľa sa odvíja dej nabitý vzrušujúcimi udalosťami, zvláštnymi situáciami, ktoré neraz vyplývajú z pomýlenej totožnosti zločinca Stana Bastabla a jeho predpokladanej obete Willieho Banksa. Autorke sa podarilo vystihnúť originálne anglické prostredie; vytvorila rafinovaný románový príbeh s potrebnou gradáciou a so záverečným víťazstvom spravodlivosti nad zločinom. Iróniou je, že najväčšiu zásluhu na vyriešení celej záhadnej aféry a chytení zločinca nemá polícia, ale práve mladí detektívi-amatéri Willie a Calli.
